AVENTZ Co. was founded by Abby Fritz in 2016 after she designed, implemented, and executed the building of a three-tiered centerpiece for a high school teacher. After this Madison Beach Hotel wedding and having four years of prior event experience in conferences and conventions, Abby decided that this was where her passion was – designing and planning events in New England.
Over the last decade, Abby has worked in all aspects of the hospitality industry and has taken every opportunity to enrich her event planning skills. She has since executed events and weddings throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York from venues to private residences, and hotels.

Owner & Event Specialist
Abby Fritz
Abby holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports, Entertainment, Event – Management with a Specialization in Event Management from Johnson & Wales University.. As a professional she has won the Best of Zola, been published in Green Wedding Shoes, and won Best of Hartford. Abby is known by many, for her exceptional talent in noticing intricate details and ensuring seamless timeline flow.
Abby has been creating and executing events for over ten years. She first started in conferences, conventions, and fundraising events for her schools, churches, and local non-profit organizations, and then she started to drift into weddings. Abby had many internships throughout college one with Meeting Professionals International and moved throughout Krstin Nicole Events (Best of Rhode Island 2018-2022), Over the last 10 years,, Abby has planned and designed special occasions in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island.
In her free time Abby enjoys camping, bookshops, and antiquing. Abby is an introvert extrovert, virgo, dessert lover, and likes to hula hoop!

Carla
Event Assistant & Content Creation
Carla brings a seasoned marketing perspective and a calm, thoughtful presence to the team! A West Hartford, Connecticut native, she spent over a decade in New York City working with nationally recognized brands including Volkswagen and GoGoSqueeze. Now back in the Nutmeg State, she enjoys a quieter life as a yoga instructor, devoted dog mom to Mia, and lover of cozy evenings at home.
Her favorite part of an event day is the room reveal—watching clients step into a space that they will remember forever!

Warren
Event Assistant
A North Haven, Connecticut native, he spent over 40 years as an engineer at The Lee Company, where precision and problem-solving shaped his approach. In this chapter, he has found a passion for design, details, and building meaningful community through events.
Outside of event days, Warren enjoys traveling throughout Europe and the Caribbean or hosting gatherings at home with his partner, A special tie – he is Abby’s “faux uncle,” with hospitality running deep through our family history.

Kayla
Event Assistant & Associate Planner
Kayla is from New Milford, Connecticut and has spent over 15 years in the hospitality industry, most recently at the Heritage Hotel. She is known for her sharp eye for detail and her ability to stay calm, flexible, and solution-focused on event days.
Outside of work, Kayla is a mom of three, a Disney Adult, she is terrified of snakes, and had been traveling alone since she was 9 years old! Her favorite part of our work is event design, where creativity and precision come together to create thoughtful, cohesive spaces.
